1. SMS Information Collected

If you opt in to receive text messages, we may collect:

  • Your name and mobile phone number

  • The date and time of your opt-in and confirmation reply

  • Message content and interaction history (e.g., HELP or STOP commands)

2. How We Use SMS Information

We use SMS data solely to:

  • Confirm and remind you about scheduled service calls, appointments, or online meetings

  • Provide service-related updates (e.g., technician arrival, completion notices)

  • Respond to inquiries or support requests

  • Manage opt-in and opt-out preferences

We do not use SMS information for advertising or marketing without your separate, explicit consent.

3. Opt-In and Opt-Out

By providing your mobile number on our website, form, or booking page, you consent to receive SMS notifications.
After signing up, you’ll receive a confirmation request:

“Principal IT Consultants: You requested text updates for service appointments. Reply YES to confirm or STOP to opt out.”

Only users who reply YES are subscribed.
You may cancel anytime by replying STOP. You will receive a confirmation of your opt-out, and no further messages will be sent.

4. Data Retention and Security

SMS consent and message records are retained for up to 24 months for compliance purposes, after which they are securely deleted.
All communications are transmitted using industry-standard encryption and carrier-verified channels.

5. Message Frequency and Rates

Message frequency varies based on service activity (typically 1–5 messages per appointment).
Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier.
